Introducing the Scout Awards

It is the end of the year and we have made several productions and artwork for the world to see and many members has contributed towards them in one of way or another. The Scout Awards is Melcre Pictures' in house awards for team members who has exceled in their performances as a way to give props to the people behind their craft and inspire the next generations of Melcre associates.

The Scout Awards will be given on the following categories; Actor of the Year, Member of the Year, and Artwork on the Year.

Actor of the Year

Actor of the Year is just like it sounds like; the best actor in a Melcre Picture from September 2022 to October 2023. The Criteria to be nominated for Actor of the Year comprises of excellent on-camera or voice-over performances that goes above and sells the realism.

This year's candidates are Alexandre Aguilar as Dr. Marsh in Help! I forgot today was Valentine's Day!, Derek Robbins as Henry in DesireGenie, Carlos Sequeria as Ned in DesireGenie, Liam Ashworth as the Reporter voice-over in DesireGenie, and Ryan Gillam as Devin in DesireGenie.

Member of the Year

Member of the Year is an award dedicated towards members for their exceptional service to Melcre Pictures in venues outside of a film or audio set.

This year's candidates are Liam Ashworth, Davet Cabrera, Derek Robbins, and Luis Garnica.

Artwork of the Year

Artwork of the year is to showcase the best artwork produced by Melcre Pictures out of the massive catalog. The timeframe we will be focusing will be from May 2022 to December 1st, 2023.

The Award Winners

The Scout Award Winners will be announced on the Melcre Pictures Website on December 21 at 10 PM ET
