Melcre Pictures produces content that is publicly available on the internet, and that means that children are able to view our material. Even though our videos on YouTube comply with the YouTube Community Guidelines, we believe that it is important for parents and guardians to be involved to determine if they want their children watching our content.
Melcre Pictures is not required by YouTube to provide a age rating for our videos with the exception of those given a 17+ Age Restriction. It is not our intention to promote something that isn't kid friendly to children. Regardless, we feel that it would be helpful to include some form of notice on the age rating for each video we produce. This way we can continue to produce the material we want to create and give notices to parents on what we believe is the appropriate audience for the material. As mentioned, we still encourage parents and guardians to review what their child is watching and to make their own decisions on if they allow our material to be shown to their child.
Melcre Pictures uses a in-house system to rate our videos that is synonymous with the Motion Picture Association's guidelines on rating motion pictures. Like the MPA's system, ours has easy-to-understand classifications from being appropriate for all ages to being Age-Restricted on YouTube. Our system is not a replacement for the MPA's system or to mock it, but rather to help parents make informed decisions on what their children should be watching. Melcre content that reaches a 17+ Rating may not always be age restricted, especially if it's due to language or violence. So far, we have no content that has reached that rating.
Below will be our entire catalog of videos along with their rating as designated by Melcre Pictures.
