Devin Rae is a film student alongside his best friend Mark who were both involved in their school's TV class. Rae vowed to stop whoever was behind DesireGenie after Patrick's untimely death to which he asks Mark and Kenny Mansley for clues on who killed Patrick. Kenny raised a theory on the murderer being his friend Henry Kempner, leading himself to being killed by Henry some time after. After his death, Devin and Mark wondered why Henry made DesireGenie and just as they had enough proof to pin Henry, Devin witnesses Mark's murder by Henry's hand on the school television.
Mark Plier was a film student alongside best friend Devin who was the first of the two to discover the DesireGenie website. As Patrick was murdered, Plier and Devin alongside Kenny attempted to figure out who was behind the murders. After Kenny's death, Mark was positive that Henry was responsible for the murders, resulting in his own demise as Henry, who was hiding in the broadcasting studio, overheard Mark and Devin's conversation and murdered him. As he was confronted by Henry, Plier switched the output to show the live feed, ensuring there would be proof of Kempner's involvement with the murders.
Henry Kempner is a coder and a former band student who served with Patrick during their time in their Freshman marching season before the Pandemic. Henry and Patrick severed ties during the pandemic as Kempner continued his coding passion and Patrick continued band, both sparring over who's passion is superior, leading to Patrick's death. His friend Kenny Mansley tried to go into Patrick's death which lead Kempner to reluctantly kill his friend using a laced drink. After his death, Kempner resorted to killing Mark after his suspicions regarding the two previous deaths, which landed Kempner in prison due to the incident being broadcasted live.
Kenny Mansley was a close friend of Henry Kempner and was the second person to be murdered by Kempner. Mansley was known for his controversial wish to the DesireGenie website which was to get a girlfriend, who was revealed to be Jenny Edaya, which sparked concerns from Devin and Mark to wonder what was the purpose of DesireGenie, and who was operating the website. Mansley was involved in the Devin/Mark-led investigation to uncover Patrick's murder, however was killed by a poisoned coffee which was send by Henry. His death was unnoticed as Mark and Devin assumed he was eating lunch with Jenny, whom was the first to discover his death.
Ned is the reclusive best friend of Patrick Aaron who was the first to discover his lifeless body in the engineering building. Ned was initially thought to be the murder, but was immediately dismissed as he had a solid alibi. Ned became more reclusive in the aftermath of Patrick and Kenny's death and was known as a "emo" by Devin and Mark.
Patrick Aaron was a former friend of Henry Kempner prior to the pandemic during their time in marching band. Aaron was seen as a radical figure as he was very negative around other school art programs and pro-band, leading to many having a negative view of him. Aaron was the very first person to be killed by Kempner, however no one knows how exactly he was killed.
Jenny Talia was a friend of Devin, Mark, Patrick, and girlfriend of Kenny Mansley. Details regarding how Jenny accepted the date with Kenny are unknown as many think DesireGenie (Henry) might have had a way in convincing her to date Kenny. Jenny was the second person to know about Patrick's death as Ned sent her the message revealing the incident and was the first to find out her boyfriend was dead as he never called back.
